After passing the initial phase of the award process - having all of the Mandatory Criteria - our evaluator(s) will now be looking to make sure the Basic Criteria is in place. If the website does not have all of the following Basic Criteria in place, it will not be disqualified, but to win an award, all must be present.

1. Do all external links open in a new window offsite unless otherwise noted? [More Information]
   
   
2. Is the design aesthetic and professional and text easy to read against the background ?
   
   
3. Are typos, spelling errors and grammar errors less than ten (10) percent of the content ?
   
   
4. Do all pages have a contact and home link?
   
   
5. Do long pages (more than 3 scrolls) have a "Back to the Top" feature?
